Lately, MacLuv has been flooding the macosx.com forums with threads that are funny, thought provoking and occasionally interesting. This reminds me of Herve. The beloved clown of macosx.com who has long since disappeared. I think he might just have assumed another identity, but I'm not sure. Even though MacLuv's threads are much more relevant and have been thought out he still reminds me of Herve. I guess it's the abundance of MacLuv's threads that remind me of Herve. So I just wanted to ask you this; is MacLuv the new Herve?
 
man, i have to say i take this as one of the greatest compliments I've recieved in a long long time... as I've no doubt been using this forum as a proving ground to develop ideas and interact with everybody, there's no doubt i've really been enjoying myself...

Now i know I've definately been in this forum too long!!!!

Herve's new identity around here is now "Tree".... don't ask me why.... maybe he's a member of the Green party, now....
 
I don't know if he's the new Herve or not, and then again I don't really care: MacLuv is a cool guy and that's all that matters! :D

I find MacLuv irritating for some reason. :p No offense or anything...

Yes, Tree is Herve. I have no idea why he changed his identity. :rolleyes:
 
If someone called me the new Herve/tree, I think I'd be sampling the taste of the barrel of my Glock 9 mm...*yark*

OTOH...if Macluverboy is the new tree, then he needs to get over to Herve's B & G and do some patronizing. So rude to not to support your own pub. :D Besides...look at this fan club you have, you'll bring in some business just to grovel at your feet and listen to your witty anecdotes!! :D
 
I must say I feel like I am missing something. It is like everyone here is blond and on the cheer squad and I am a dark haired soul with no school sprit! I just don't speak the dialect!

Who is Herve? Is he still around. Would he be sad to loss his position? Has Herve become a recluse? Is MacLuv destined to the same fate? Has our hero met his match.... Never mind. I am getting swept up in the moment.

ah inline guy, i see from your registration date that you just missed the hey day of herve. he is still around, but not like he used to be. he is from belgium and runs all his posts thru bablefish to post. they are always kinda random and more often starting a thread than in a pre-existing one. herve is usually confusing, but always entertaining.

nothing like macluv. :D
