Is this normal?

I have some problem with my PB G4 and OS X 10.4.1 (also had them on earlier OS X versions)

Some times applications just quit on my. Any application. And some times the system frezees

I have been looking at the "Spin Control" application and here are some examples:

01:12:15 8.43 seconds DashboardClient (stopped because too many samples in progress)
01:12:15 6.98 seconds DashboardClient (stopped because too many samples in progress)

01:14:26 9.63 seconds MagicMenu (stopped because too many samples in progress)
01:14:26 8.05 seconds LittleSnitchDaemon(stopped because too many samples in progress)
01:14:22 3.88 seconds TypeIt4Me (stopped because too many samples in progress)

Is his normal? I have some ideas that it can be my RAM memory, but it still don't feel like thats the problem.

Also when I close the lid, the computer wont start up when i open it, so I have to restart it.

10.4.1 wasn't incredibly stable for me, especially on my iMac. I would get kernel panics while online dial-up.

Have you tried 10.4.2?
