When I use my iSight with iChat AV (both osx and ichat, last version) my image in the camera appears like a mirror. In other programs like ispq or yahoo, this don't occur...
It is intended behavior in iChat. The programmers thought taht you feel more comfortable when you see your image as if you were seeing yourself in a mirror.
The other people see you the right way though, not mirrored.
Right. iChat flips the image just for you, so while you're in preview mode or whatever, you can quickly fix your hair and pick the food out from between your teeth before a connection is made.
