iSight and Movies?

Anyone know of anything that will let me monitor a room or record a speech in video. I have tried to get Quicktime Broadcaster to work with no success. Anyone have any suggestions of what should do or what programs to use?

for recording speech with video imovie should work, right? Am not sure if it works with isight, but actually it should.
You can also use BTV for capturing video and sound.
