iSight camera isn't recognized in Snow L

To solve problems I was having in Boot Camp, two days ago I installed Snow Leopard 10.6.2 as an upgrade. I was really happy with the results because the problems that I was having with programs and internet connections in Windows seemed to be solved. The problem that I have now is that Snow Leopard doesn't recognize my iSight camera. When I first installed Snow Leopard it asked me to take a picture (Which I did), just as it normally does during setup but when I tried to use Skype, the people I was communicating with couldn't see my picture. I checked in Utilities and it said there was no camera installed. I tried rebooting while holding down the "Shift" key to see if it would recognize the camera but that didn't work. Then I turned off the computer, unplugged the cord, depressed the power button for 6 seconds and then restarted the computer. That didn't work either. The last thing I tried was a complete reinstall of Leopard 10.5.6 followed by an update to Snow Leopard 10.6.2 including all of the updates, but it still doesn't recognize the camera in Utilities or Skype. Checking the internet forums I can see that others are having this same problem but I couldn't find any one with a resolution. I normally like to resolve these things myself but I am fairly new to Mac and don't have much expertise developed yet. You seem to be the only ones who actually have answers instead of just suggestions so I turn to you once again for help.
