This istory creator looks very intriguing... unfortunately there is nothing for the mac that can do this without some knowledge of html. But, I think this guy is missing out on a lot of opportunities. Yes, these games are pretty nifty but by linking a part of the text to audio files it is pretty limitless what can be done. You could use these on museum tours or a talking dictionary/translator. Heck, I could basically learn a foreign language from here and have the words/phrases connected to mp3 files so that I could listen to the proper pronunciations. I could actually create a blue box phone dialer have my buddies names and then click the link that is attached to the proper mp3 and presto. Or could use the ipod as a presentation tool(even better if they add photo support) Could read my speech on the ipod have line out to speakers and then click at certain points to hear audio clips or have another link access a photo that could be drawn to the projector. Would be pretty awesome to create your presentation on keynote and have it export it as and ipod presentation package.

I believe his software is and some information can be located at...

Though you don't have to create a story we can create notes, speeches, books going back and forth through chapters. I can create a dictionary on the ipod that will link to references, other words and sound bytes allowing me to hear proper pronunciation. I can actually, create an outline and at certain times access the article or larger note. Heck the sky's the limit for a lot of people since they don't have to fool around with html again as was the case 10 years ago when frontpage, homepage and all the rest of those coding apps came around and you had everyone writing web sites.

Someone could write an app for doctors that allow them to transfer there notes to the ipod and then have links to audio files and in later versions the ability to access graphic information they may have stored. I could also use this to create a lecture program. Where the first note would be an outline note have small blurbs about what I need to talk about and then have a link under it taking me to the full note of the speech. I am not sure if you can have two links on the same line however, for forward and back. I know it can be done on separate lines. This is great, hypercard for the ipod is alive.

Though this is in german he has some good ideas coming. The german quiz program for the ipod is a good stepping block. The ipod will quiz me will give me audible feedback if its a right or wrong answer and at the end actually tally my scores. So, teachers could have a multiple choice test sync to every students ipod and then the student takes his test on the ipod and then somehow returns it to the teacher with the score. Of course they could access the score they want since I'm assuming it's only a note. Of course if the note doesn't have a name or is blank it would be hard for the student to find unless it was hooked directly to a computer. I think there will be a lot of copy cat quiz type games coming out. Trivial pursuit for the ipod. I'm going to try to create a german and french travel phrase/guide book. Will have 1000 words phrases. When someone needs the translation for a word they choose the language and then they can also click to hear a pronuciation.
