It worked in OS9 :-(

Hello,

After several months we finally have our music system set back up. With X's core audio, I thought we would be set. I anxiously loaded Apple's MIDI setup. It discovered the MIDIMAN 2x2. Great. But it did not discover the actual synth hooked up to the interface. 9's OMS did. So I manually added the synth device to the virtual configuration. Couldn't wire up the devices. It beleives my interface has no connections :-(

But it still works. Signals are sent to interface and it routes them out.

So I went to version tracker to get a hold of some karaoke softare. QMIDI doesn't allow for font changes. Melody assistant was just to much of a hassle to load the .kar files, associate the instruments, and open the karaoke window. Its Windows style interface was a major turn off. That was it. So I said, hey, the QT player does karaoke. The font size increases with window size! But I cannot select the MIDI hardware in the music prefs tab. QT music synth just blows. In 9's QT, OMS was available.

Am I missing anything.
