iTools/.Mac E-Mail account to stay free?

I just came across this URL:

(I quickly searched the macosx.com forums for it to see if someone else had noticed this but didn't find any hits...)

I found the URL on http://www.macrumors.com...


Does this mean Apple is considering keeping E-Mail only accounts free and we'd be charged only for the full .Mac accounts? It seems there are mixed messages about this issue. What do others think?
