Im not sure if it's just me, but did anyone else notice a big difference between iTunes 4, and the update, 4.01 besides the loss of internet sharing??
After I updated, i noticed that whenever I clicked any of the buttons (play, pause, next, back) or double clicked a song, or even pressed the left or right arrow keys to skip tracks, iTunes would freeze for a varying amount of time, and the spinning "beachball" would appear.
I thought it might be the ogg vorbis plugin i downloaded recently, so i removed it. Same thing. I removed visual plugins. I looked for extra things running in memory. I always had an idea it might have been the update. So earlier today, after much hassle (i had to remove the "receipt" from when itunes 3 was installed too) i managed to re-install iTunes 4. voila. No more freezing. Were there any other changes made to 4.01 besides limiting sharing to the current subnet??
