iTunes Authoriziation Problem

Hi

I am at boarding school and live there and have an 20' iMac intel.

I have some music on my itunes which has not been authorized and i cannot do it through the music store as it says make sure your network connection is active and try again, and I have made sure that it is connected, and that the school havent blocked it.

Is there another way to authorize ie by phone or by visiting some site?

nope, it can only do it online. thats how apple's servers tell the computer its ok to play the songs. apple can't tell the computer its ok over the phone. also make sure that not only its not blocked by the school, but by any routers, or the people that provide the school with internet.
