Although I've had my iMac for a while I haven't used iTunes much.
Now I have a need for it and I can't get it to do what I want in several different areas.
I have a list of Audio files which I have created playlists for and then uploaded to my iPod through iTunes.
When you have a audio file in finder and then transfer it to iTunes, it changes its name and qualities etc...
So I went through the painful task of re-naming all my audio files in several of my playlists after they had been transferred to iTunes.
So now, I have all the audio files set up the way I want in iTunes under my iPod playlists.
The question is, how do I export this list, exactly with all its qualities and names etc.. to the Mac so that I can import them again for when I connect my other device (iPhone)?
When I select a playlist (under my iPod name) and then choose File >> Library, the Export Playlist feature is dimmed.
What can I do?
Thanks,
JH
