Itunes radio buffer seems to be full )-plays same song!

Hi there - thanks for any help you can give - I have a problem with Itunes - I seem to have a song stuck in the radio buffer - every time I try a certain station, itunes plays the same section of the same song, again and again - it pauses, "rebuffers" and stops. It plays the same song again and again - in addition any other radio station now only plays for about 5 seconds and must rebuffer. I have been in the tech support business for many years - but for PC's - so I don't know how to empty the buffer to normal in OSX. I have effectively uninstalled and re-installed Itunes (thanks to you) but it made no difference. HELP!

sound as you might need to do a spotlight lookup on any thing with iTunes. sound as if you might have bad file hanging around some where. See just trashing iTunes the app and then reinstalling it will not get of the other files iTunes makes on other places on your hard drive. OS X does not work the same way Windows does.
