I don't know if this is old news, but after installing the Mac OS X 10.1.3 upgrade and reading the new Apple section last night on slashdot (http://apple.slashdot.org), I read someone else's comment that he was happy that iTunes still recognized his Yamaha SCSI CD-RW drive. Since My LaCie SCSI CD-RW (6X-4X-16X) is a Yamaha drive, I thought, what the hell, I'll give it ANOTHER try. Surprisingly, putting a blank CD into the drive opened up a window to prepare the CD, I clicked the ignore button. iTunes burned at 6X in Audio CD format. I tested it in my stereo - no problems. SWEET - about time that SCSI drives are supported. I don't know yet if I can burn data CD's yet from the Finder, hopefully it can.
