iTunes Visualizer as desktop ?

I'm not a programmer, nor will I ever be one, but is there a simple way to put the iTunes visualizer running as the desktop a la Desktop Screensaver?

If you can get a freestanding copy of the engine... in other words, I don't think so. You can try...
