Hello, i have an iBook G4 and an intel iMac. I bought iWork '06 on my iMac by just purchasing the Product key and having it sent to me via email. I Figured I would just be able to put that same code in my iWork on my iBook and be able to use it. But to my surprise, my iBook only had iWork '05 and the key does not work with it.

My question being, how do I go about getting iWork '06 on my iBook without having to purchase the program again to get the CD's?

In other words, a serial number for one version of an application may / may not be accepted by an earlier or newer version. This statement applies to many software publishers, not just Apple.

You are entitled to install the software on multiple Macs; yet - legally (as per Apple's interpretation) allowed to use it on only one Mac, at a time. Such a statement does not apply to all software publishers; but - many.
