just a few questions about jaguar...

1. ive read somewhere the installing jaguar will totally erase your hard drive (???)...is this true?
2. is it free (as in, download) or is it like 10.1, where you had to go and get it from an Apple Shop...
3. is it a compelte overhaul of the OS X system, or is it just like fixing of the little bugs? will apps still run properly?

I installed many betas... with NO problemsì

It is NOT out yet... and it will probably be a CD not a dload.... i believe t will be a full cd at full price for non X.1 users...but for people that have a proof or purchase for X.1 there will probably be a cheeper upgrade cd

It is a complete overhaul of OS X system, a big portion of the code has been remade, Quartz Extreme has been added and few other functionality has been added.

As for apps, developers should have recieved the betas to check wether or not they are compatible, and all apps should be compatible by the time Jaguar gets here...

P.S.: Wouldn't it be fun if Quark Express now came for OS 10.1? Those guys must be the slowest bunch of developers I've ever seen, they wouldn't be compatible then with Jaguar till the next major OS overhaul...
