I'm having some serious difficulty getting my airport card on my G4 Powerbook (running 10.2.8) to connect to this Belkin G+ wireless router (F5D7231-4). I've done a fair share of wireless work with other routers and had no trouble. However when I try to connect I get a very generic error saying it can't connect. The router is running no security except for MAC address filtering. There are another 3 macs in the house and they all work fine... with tiger... Any ideas? (OTHER than upgrading to tiger, i ordered it last night and it should be getting here soon, any suggestions?)

I am a new IMAC user. My son went to Iraq (2nd hitch) and left me his IMAC G5 OS 10.3.9 which I am trying to connect wirelessly to my Netgear WGR614 V4 router network which has 3 PCs (2 XP Home and 1 Windows ME) on it. I bought an Airport Express card. If I set up the G5 within 15 feet of the router it connects fine with about a 65% signal. Unfortunately, I need to keep it in a room farther away. There it does not see the network even if I type in the network name. Does anyone know a workaround for this?
