just a question about 10.2. do we have to buy the full version (for AUD$200+, its a lil steep for me!!!), or am i correct in thinking that theres gotta be just like an upgrade or something for half the price????
 
Unfortunately no theres no lower price for upgrades unless you just bought a computer these last couple of days! But, if you are a student or a teacher or have somehting to do with the educational system there is educational prices at store.apple.com. Just go to the educational part of the site and you get tons of coolie dscounts. Jaguar is $69 here, which is a whole lot better!I hope ive helped with your dilemma which lots of people have had! they also have gov't discounts if youre in that field.

talk about annoying! theyve become just like microsoft...charging for every little thing! im quite pissed that you now have to pay for .mac, a service that used to be free!
 
Actually Microsoft just started charging for their upgrades and absolutely everything also. Dickheads.... its not like they need the money. Apple at lease could use the extra cash, Macrosoft No.
 
If you're a student, you can get it at $183.70 Australian. Look under Store -> Education at www.apple.com.au

On the other hand, maybe you know a student and will split the difference with them ... :rolleyes:
 
Remember how we mocked M$ .NET technology? Now in true M$ fashion we've been boned with this so called .Mac technology and to add to insult were all being hooped into a full price upgrade for 10.2 - $179.00 bucks in Canada for what its worth!
