Java Help With Games Like Runescape

Hi Guys, i have been trying to play the internet game called Runescape On my ibook g3, but everytime i run the game it goes really slow , unlike on my pc, my ibook g3 has a wireless adapter that i use to connect it to the internet, im not sure if that is anything to do with it , I hope someone can help me , Thanks For Your Time, Callum
 
Which iBook G3? iBooks with G3 range from 300MHz clam-shells to 900MHz chiclets. In my experience, 300MHz for low-end Runescape is terribly optimistic.

You could try turning off sound effects and background music. If your RAM is low, you could try quitting excess programs. Even so, it's taking most of the CPU time on my 1.3 GHz Pentium III to test these ideas, in an area with almost no other people, using the low-quality "300MHz" version of the program.

However, wireless Internet is fine.
