Java1.3.1Update1...HELP!

After installing the Java 1.3.1 update when it was avaliable running IE 5.1... I've noticed recently, for example on iWon.com, that some online games requiring a Java Virtual Machine still don't seem to work on 10.1.3! Any suggestions...? Is there going to be a new Java update soon...? Thanks!

AFAIK, browsers do not access MRJ. You have to have a Java browser plugin like the one available for Mozilla.

If you're using Mozilla or Netscape 6.x, download the MRJ plugin driver here...

I also found that, after updating Java, I had to reboot before it would kick in (even though Software Update seems to think no restart is required).
