Hey all....Just want to say hi to everyone on the forums. I recently just bought an Ibook 14inch 700mhz G3 and am getting into the Mac scene. I currently own about 7 pcs and 2 macs and work at a pc shop where I build desktops/servers/racks and repair them aswell. Got into apple because well, I wanted a laptop and the quality of pc laptops scare me. I am super happy with my Ibook and have Osx 10.2 loaded on it. Hope to chat it up with you guys frequently on the boards and learn everything there is about the underground and underrated world of the mac ;) :)

You should not have too much problems getting started on the Mac, and if you want to go deeper into learning how to set up and optimise your Mac and customising how everything behaves and getting the best from it, do ask around and I believe you will get the answers.

Hehe, as i read the forums i figured you guys are cool. Bunch of dudes on macs hanging out and chatting it up. Hehe...you all should really get some sort of irc channel going somewhere :) That would be sorta cool....and btw, what is the secret code for our next mission?

Not Dogs are meatless hot dogs ... made from soy. Other good names of vegetarian products are Foney Baloney and Fakin' Bacon.

Aha, so this is where the thread got moved. Nice to meet all of you and I hope to venture through learning about my iBook and mac osx with you guys. I'm a windows user with moderate linux expierience. I have 3 Athlon Systems running Win2k, 1 Intel p3 system running Redhat 7.3, a PowerMac 7200, a MacSE and now this ibook. Oh yeah, and a dual celeron file server running win2k server. :)
