KDE performance

Hi.

I have an 867 G4 powerbook, and I'm using XDarwin. It seems that GNOME applications run fine, while KDE applications are terribly slow. They take a couple of seconds to open, and are extremely slow and unresponsive. Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Is it just that Quartz has issues with KDE? Ay. This is frustrating.

u said ur using XDarwin?!? not Apple's X11?

do you have Apple's X11 installed?

If so, are u sure ur using the quartz-wm?
