Kernal panics

OK for some reason I've had 2 or 3 Kernal Panics in the past week alone and I haven't installed anything other than those stupid language updaters through the software update thing.

anyone able to help? I'm thinking a fresh install would do me good but that's just a major pain in the butt....

But, have you installed any new hardware? Like RAM or a mouse then it could be that.
I don't think the freakin language updaters could be the problem.
Messed/Explored with you system lately?

Me too! I've had two. I DID install some new PC100 RAM (256MB). Hmm...

I have read kernel panics are frequent with Dave 3.1 (connectivity tool for Mac). Can anyone substantiate that?

If the ram has bad quality, thats likely the problem.

The only thing I've installed lately is my iPod and Final Cut 3. It could be a little bug in Final Cut 3 because both times it has crashed was when I was in Final Cut. I'm not sure....it hasn't happened for a little while so maybe I'm through with them.....sshh just don't say anything and it'll be ok....
