Kodak EasyShare to iPHOTO on MacBook

I cannot transfer photos from a Kodak EasyShare M893 IS camera to iPHOTO on my MacBook (Mac OS X 10.5.8). I have downloaded Kodak EasyShare_v6_dmg, but it does not seem to help. How can I get this to work?
