Kodak Printer Dock - printing problems

I have looked at the several posts - and was wondering whether there has been some movement from Kodak on fixing the problem...that is, I can download pictures using the dock, and the printer control panel recognizes the printer, but I don't have a printer driver. Just to be clear, I have downloaded from Kodak the printer driver (many times) and tried using the easy share softwars cd. All with no luck. I also repaired disk permissions. I haven't unloaded extra printer drivers, but will try that if it is my last resort - certainly I don't need all the drivers that come with the iMac. Many Thanks

Having looked at several posts here and then stumbled onto how to make the Kodak printer dock (at least the Series 3 that my father has) work, I thought I should return here and share the solution. The big problem is actually with Kodak's directions. (That and their apparent failure to answer customer support questions.) Once you have installed the drivers, either from the CD or from a download, opened the Printer Setup Utility, and clicked "Add" you will need to choose the "More Printers..." button at the bottom of the window and choose the "Kodak Printers" option in the popup menu at the top of the window that appears. Then you should see your printer/dock in the list that appears, and be able to select it, then the "Add" button will become active and one click will activate your printer with the right drivers selected.
