Lack of Mail Folders in Comcast Cable Modem ISP

After creating a second identity in my ISP Comcast I've noticed in the Mail Program that I only have one folder , Inbox . Sent Trash , Draft et al are missing . In writing to the ISP they advise me its Apple's Fault ? since I use Safari and X . They only support Explorer 5. and up .
My primary account has all the folders . Any suggestions ?
