I'm going to a LAN party called LANo this weekend. Those of you who know me will know I have 56k at home. Here, I'll have a big bandwith for a weekend. Any ideas on what to use it for? I plan to chat and play games, but let's hear the creative bandwith-users here...
 
Well then search for audio. How can you get porn when you search for music?

Nah, a friend's got it. If I want a beta system on my comp I can just get a CD...damn, I'll have powers without using them
 
let's see. when i first got broadband i just did the same things i had always done. and sat and marveled at how much faster i could do them. Then i started doing all the searches for stuff i had been thinking about. because suddenly no page is likely to take 5 mins to load. The official Harry Potter web site is still one of my favorites.

i'm guessing there will be other people there doing the same kinds of thing and so by sharing, you will come up with some cool ways to enjoy your time in the fast lane.

I spent my first day of broadband watching movie trailers at the highest possible quality, and then downloaded every song I had ever been recommended by anyone... :) And then every song off of every album I had heard was good... :) And then I would find an album that I liked on Amazon, looked at the "other recommended albums" list, and downloaded them as well:)
