Leopard timed sleep problem on G5

I have a late 2005 Dual 2.3GHz G5 -
Running mostly Logic Studio - I have a Tascam FW-1884 desk
plugged in on firewire.

Yesterday did the upgrade to Leopard, all seems great
but timed sleep won't work. You can hear a little noise at the
timed moment, but it does not sleep.

Manual sleep seems fine

Tried restarts, disc permisssions repair, running maintenance scrips
and PMU reset, nothing made any difference -

Please help!
