linksys range is too short

100 meters, yea right. Anyways, I've been doing my homework, and I've found a place on shopping.yahoo.com, called 4net networking corp that sells 8dbi onmi directional antennas for linksys (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/4netonline/ls08uk8dbico.html). Now, my BEFW11S4 V.2 has 2 antennas, so I was wondering, should I buy 2 antennas or should one do nicely?

By the way, yes, I know it voids my warenty, frankly I dont give as long as my range is better than 10 feet.

I have a BEFW11S4 and the range is incredible. I have a 2 story house witha basement, it works all throughout the house, including in my basment (Router is on 2nd floor), outside in my front yard and my side yard across a field. I'm on a TiBook 667mhz (1st ed.). Are your walls outside walls or inside walls?

It works fine with my iBook too, but the problem is my bro's piece of sh*t toshiba and it's crappy linksys wireless card. anyways, linksys's own wireless card seems unable to reach 1 story up.

I decided to buy 2 antennas, and only now I discover I also need antenna signal amplifiers. Probably once I waste another $ 300 on this widget, I'll find another thing I need to buy to make it work. Undoubtably I'll end up taking a bat to it. I knew that unconditional 1 year warenty would come in handy...
