Locked My Hdd!!!

Hi Guys

First off all I want to thank you for this page,I am not that good at english.But I try to explain this to you the best way I can.

Here is my problem:

I own an ibook g4 12" power pc with os x on it,I love mac but I am new to it so I dont have that mutch experiance.Well back to my problem I was playing with ownership and promission I just wanted to test how it works.What I did was I MARK MY HDD ICON on my desktop,then I choosed "get info" then went down to "ownership label" and changed from "system" to "admins" of course I did click on that "lock icon" and entered my admin password to be abel to make this changed,then I choosed "no access" hehe why I did that...dont ask me:( and NOW as you understand I LOCKED MY SELF OUT and I cant click on "lock icon" to change this BACK! I have just one account on my ibbok and that is my admin accound witch I distroyed by doing this:(,I tryied restaring computer it boots on normal way,password window apears and whrn I enter my admin password "desktop background picture" apears and NOTHING else,no dock,no finder on the top NOTHING!....PLEASE HELP ME!??? EVEN MY OS X INSTALLATION CD WONT BOOT WHEN I START MY IBOOK,PLEASE HELP I DONT WANT TO LOOSE MY FAMILY PIX,DOCS ETC ETC:)
 
You can reset the login password this way.
Insert your OSX Install disk, restart and immediately hold down the "C" key. You should eventually be presented with the OSX installation window. If you have a Tiger disk first select your language and when the next window appears you should have a menu up the top with Utilities available. Under this menu select Reset password.
When that's done I strongly suggest you repair the permissions since you have the installation disk loaded. Again in the Utilities menu select DiskUtility. You should get a new window with your hard drive appearing in a list on the left. Select it and click Repair permissions. You will most likely get a number of messages saying "We are using special permissions on…". These can be ignored but if you get any "Permissions differ on…" message repeat the procedure until no such message appear. Now restart and hopefully you should be OK. You have to enter a new password in your account, too.
