i have 2 imacs indigo one is 400nghz the other 450 i want to swap the logic boards cos one is faster than the other (obvious).
is there a tutorial, how easy is it, an will i die from the crt if i did it.
can any body help.
one of the screens is broke so i cant jus use the other one an i dont wanna hook up an external moniter.

Essentially, you just take a long screw out of the bottom of the case, pop off the cover, and then there is a motherboard "tray" that the MB, hard drive, and CDROM drive are mounted to. Take out the 2 screws holding the tray to the main case, disconnect all the cables running to the tray, and then slide it out of the main case. You should be able to just swap the hardware trays between the 2 machines.
