Login Problem Cookie WorkAround

Okay...

Well, if you are like me... you might be able to login, but posting and cookies are just a problem. In fact, this site for some reason is not giving out cookies anymore.

Intrestingly though, you can go to the GALLERY and login with your account and it will give you a cookie that you can then come back to the forums and run away with.

Thats the quick and dirty fix until we figure out what is going on! Please pass the word around.
 
Hmm, I'm not having any problems with logging in, Scott. I'm remembered between visits to the board. Just checked, I do have cookies, and I'm posting this on my new iBook, so it definitely didn't have any old ones hanging around.

Err, though I did notice one thing - after I logged in the first time, the forum actually had the correct time for my last visit from my desktop machine. Is the new VB software logging that somewhere on the server?
 
Doesn't work for me. Coming back to the forums, I still get the new post icon after I've read and refreshed the page. Just now, there was one new thread icon, which I had already read, read it again and then closed and refreshed that forum, then all threads have the new post icon.

It gives you a cookie to login... not when you last visited, what you should have read, etc.
