hi, i'm totally new to server (going to school for networking and macs are only mentioned in passing, so i've taken it upon myself to at least be familiar with the evironment) and i'm trying to change the login window from username and password to a list of users ala os x client. those options are greyed out and i can't change them via system preferences/accounts/login options. is this option not available in server for security purposes, or is there another way to change this? i read something that indicated what i was looking for was in the workgroup manager, but when i go to preferences/login i am told that "login window/options can not be managed for users" and i am unable to see any options. what is the proper procedure for accessing these options? my girlfriend and i share a powerbook and she can't stand having to type out her username and password (doesn't bother me)

thanks!

edit/ oops, forgot to mention this is v10.4

This is one of the settings, like those for energy saver, for example, which is only available if you manage the computer account, not the user or group. First, you need to create a computer list. Then you have to add your powerbook to the list (browse for it and create an account). Then you can set preferences by the computer list, and you'll see the login window options.
