I purchased 2 Logitech Cameras. My main goal is not to use them for chat right now but rather just to be able to make videos to send to friends and family. I have theQuickCam Vision Pro for Mac and the QuickCam Pro 4000.
I have the 4000 hooked up to my PM G4 running sys. 10.4.11 and the Vision Pro is used with my iMac G5 Running Leopard latest version. All I want to do is record videpos for now which I am able to do with the 4000 but when I try to attach the video to an email I get no responce. I have to find out what format I need to make that video in. after making the video I get this loud ping. When I use Macam with tthe 4000 I am able to record as well and take stills. I am unable to make a video when I use thew Vision Pro. The Quality is much better and that's about it. How do I record video with the vision pro?? I only want to keep one of these cameras so my question is which one will be best for what I wanrt to use it for? Most of my friends & family have PCs so will I be able to chat when ready seeing that I am on a Mac. I would just like to simplify my use of either one of these cameras and your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
