After installing Jaguar on my G3 iMac, my Logitech 4-button wheelmouse is no longer recognized, though the left and right buttons work as they should, and the scroll wheel works. The thumb button does not work.

I have the Logitech control panel installed in System Preferences and it does not find my Logitech mouse.

Any ideas, folks?

I have the 4 button logitech wheelmouse aswell. And until they had come out with their control panel prog, I was using USB Overdrive...

There's an update for the overdrive, on versiontracker....i believe it has jaguar compatability. But thanks for the heads up, so I know what to expect when I eventually upgrade to Jag....

Thanks for the tip! I downloaded the USB Overdrive program and installed it. It installed the preference pane in System Preferences and allowed me to configure my mouse with no trouble at all. Now all works fine!

There's a new version of the Logitech control panel on Version tracker - jaguar compatability.

But man....everytime I use that, it corrupts my .ds_store files...so I have to type that sudo command in the terminal...

sudo find / -name .DS_Store -exec /bin/rm {} \;

Luckily I keep that command in the stickies prog....so I can copy and paste! :D

Hopefully Jaguar will fix that for me.....right? *l*
