hey all, when i updated to osx 10.1.4, my usb mouse was not responding on my PowerBook. it was working fine under 9 and 10.1.3, but not after 10.1.4. i downloaded all this software, but now it seems that my mouse cant do as much as it used to do. when i click on the scrool button and move up/down, it shud jump pages, now it does exactly like regualr scroll-no click. and if i hit the middle button, it acts like double click, and will open a folder if i click on when with it. i dont like the new prefs, and i have gotten usb overdrive, but it seems to be overridden, everything i set in it, does not do anything to my mouse. finally, i got logitechs new suport, and thats what gave me these new options that i dont like. it is recognized, but i would like how it used to be...any suggestions?

You said you downloaded the logitech drivers so that would be my guess as the culprit. Can you change settings in that?

I too have a logitech mouse and I downloaded the logitech drivers but never unstuffed them on the basis of "Overdrive works, why fix it?"

So I have the .dmg or whatever I downloaded it as on my HD so I can install them if you get no help but I'd rather not in case it breaks my stuff like it did for you. If you can trash those drivers or use them for your benifit that would be the place to start.

i found out that now it has a control center for logitech in sustem prefs - and the only thing it recognizes is my mouse...so if i delete all the components, drivers, and everything that was installed by the package, i can use overdrive? now when i hit the middle button, it acts like double click, and thats really annoying, plus when i click down on the middle button and then start scrolling, it wont skip pages like it is supposed to...
