Logitech MX700 mouse

Just a FYI, I recently bought a Logitech cordless/optical mouse (MX700) and it is really a great mouse. I had a Kensington that was nothing but problems and before that a Logitech cordless ball mouse that I really liked, but after 3 years or so it became a hassle to clean. Any way, this is just a very positive recommendation for the MX700.
 
What I want is a separately solf MX900 mouse (today, mouse and keyboard come as kit only)the bluetooth-enabled Logitech wireless mouse...
 
did any of you guys manage to use the forward/backwards buttons on the left side of the mouse for the finder-windows (similar to safari...)? I have the MX500 and love it too but would love it more, if that one could work
 
if you get keyboard maestro (search versontracker.com) you can basically customize the buttons to do that ever you want.

just set up a hot key - some difficult to key key-combo then set keyboard maestro to do what ever on that combo.

safari forward/back is apple+left or right
finder back is apple+up

you can do this with keyboard maestro (its free)

One thing that would have been really cool if logictech had thought of it is the computer wakes when you remove the mouse from its cradle and sleeps when you replace it. THAT would be cool.


Very good mouse though, i recommend it as well.

I Have recommended to logictech that in the next version of the mouse software that applescripts should be able to be connected to button of the mouse. If they can open applications/documents and system volume etc you would think doing applescripts would not be much more work!!
 
sounds like the thing I was looking for. Unfortunately versiontrackers says it's shareware.. :( Tnx anyway, profx!
 
i have it too.
this is my configuration:

left button = click
right button = ctrl + click
wheel = scrool
wheel click = cmd + w
<< button = previous window in safari
>> button = next window in safari
the other button on the center = cmd + tab
< button = cmd + h
> button = cmd + click
