use to sync items from my desktop computer to my PowerBook. Something that looks at modified dates and replaces files accordingly. Thanks!!!

If you're handy with the command line, you can use rsync to sync your two Macs.

If you need a GUI, there's RsyncX.

I am syncing between a PC running WinXP and my PowerBook running OSX10.4.8 over my network at work. Can I do that with RsyncX? Will it update only the files that have had changes made to them and not re-copy files that haven't been changed? As an example: I'vegot 1gig of files that have previously been synced using RsyncX, 5 files totaling 6megs have been changed. When I run RsyncX again, will it re-copy the whole gig or just the 5 files?
