i do not own a mac myself but i am working with them, i was asked to ser up a wirless network on are new mac G5's. with my backgrond i have very use of using a mac, i was looking for a step to step on how to enable the wireless and how to get it set up if anyone can help.. i am using a D-Link 524 wireless router. i know how to work my way around the router.

Thanks,
Ben

Well, unless there's some security set on the D-Link then the wireless NICs (Airport) inside of the G5 machines should already have associated to them. If you head to System Preferences (there should be an icon on the Dock or you can head to the Applications folder) and select the Network pane from within System Preferences, you should see some listings of connections. One should be from the ethernet port, and if it has an Airport card it will show another listing for Airport. If it has a green light on it, then it's associated and connected. If not, then just double click the selection for Airport and configure it there.

Good luck.
