Lord of the Rings review

well, to start with the trailers don't do it real justice. this movie is pretty awesome. graphics and scenery are amazing. the plot of course is classic. it's been so long since i read any tolkein i wasn't the least bit concerned withohow true to the books it is. Its an instant classic as far as i am concerned. most of the acting is exceptional and the charachters very believable.
i am normally not one to appreciate 3 hr long movies. but LOR had me rivited!! I looked at my watch after one hour and was amazed that was all the time that had passed - so much had already happened. and after that i never even thought about time again. i was actually surprised when it was over.
if you need to go to the restroom, i would suggest running right after they re-enter the dwarfs' mines - this is when i went and i was told that watching golem follow them and hiss was all i missed. if you are a golem fan, then you'd better not drink much cause the rest is pretty nonstop.
i am going to give away the ending here - there is no ending. it is like the 1st of a 3 part miniseries. it has a 'to be continued' feel to it. what did you expect - it is a triliogy?
while this movie will still be good on the tube, i say go see it on the big screen to fully appreciate the panoramic beauty of it.:D :D :D
