- got message to say Entourage database was damaged and had to be rebuilt.
- said OK and lost all Entourage entries as of October 2009
- I found 'copies' of more recent emails and learnt to change the .vRgeMessage extension to .eml, drag them back into mailbox and recover text of emails.
- problem is I can't recover the attachments to incoming emails
