Low System Memory???!!!

WTF???

Um... I have 896 MBs of RAM, and I was only using Mail, iTunes and 3 Web Browsers!

I think the error migh have come from IE but am unsure.

Imideatly after I saw that error I took a snapshot of Memory Usage Getter... Shows plenty of RAM available!

So What the hell is going on?

I'm attaching a collage of the error, Memory Usage Getter, About This Mac and my Dock in the state it was when I got the error (with PS opening to create the collage but wasn't running at the time of the error).

Why did that happen? If it was IE then I don't realy care since I hardly use it, but still with that much RAM on OSX I wouldn't expect to get an out of memory error unless I was doing something intense in Photoshop! :p

Nah - I'm thinking because I had IE and any combination of OTHER browsers opened at the same time! LOL :D ;)

But still... that's an error I do NOT want to see unless I'm doing some intense in PS or something! :p
 
I don't think that's as much of a joke as you mean it as...I've noticed more trouble when combining IE with another browser than with anything else...of course, it's the other browser that will snap because of an error, but with so many other browsers I'd imagine IE is the one doing it...
 
Solution: Don't use IE :D

I think I got that error once a long time ago with IE, but I'm not really sure.
 
I've gotten that message before, also with plenty of available memory. I think it is with IE as well. :) Not sure if I had any other browsers open at the same time.
 
It's an Internet Explorer bug.

I have concluded that it's not really a Memory error, instead it's IE THINKING it's a Memory error. And it ONLY happens in IE. It's the ONLY time you'll see the words "Low" and "Memory" in OS X.

Solution: Use another browser.

OmniWeb, Opera, Chimera, iCab, Netcrap.. Pick one.

And if you REALLY want to guarantee you'll never have trouble loading images, use Lynx. :D :D :D :D
