Mac 13.3 Will Not Boot

Hello,

New Member here.

I have a Macbook (13.3 - Core Duo 1.83) - White... has worked like a champ for 3 years now (out of warranty).

Today - I turn it on (always powered by ac)... and nothing really happens.

When I press the Power Button:

- I hear a low fan humming (nothing different than before).

- Sleep Indicator light is on and steady (nothing different than before).

- The screen flashes for a split second and then screen goes black.

- No hard drive sounds.

It just sits there like a lump on the log.

Battery is fully charged... connected to wall.

Performed SMC reset - no changed.

Have you tried powering it on while plugged in without the battery in place? Does it turn on that way?

With laptop connected to the wall - and battery removed
- same results... I'm getting a bad feeling
