Mac App Store paradise beckons

Does everyone feel that the convenience of the upcoming Mac App Store outweighs the concerns of Apple having almost total control over what you have on your Mac?

I'll give it a try, but looking at the list of restrictions placed on developers,I'll more than likely get my apps from the usual sources.
