Mac compatible PDA with phone, any ideas???

I'm looking to buy a PDA with built in phone, and wondered what the latest thoughts are on Mac compatability (synching with Mail, bluetooth, etc).

I've never really looked for a PDA before, so have little idea what's out there for the Mac. I'm aware of the rumours about Mac developing a PDA.... are these JUST rumours I wonder??

Any thoughts, experiences, ones to have a look at, ones to avoid, etc.?

Thanks

I had an O2 XDA 2. i think it was too big. however the O2 XDA Mini might do the trick for you.

If not a pda I think a better option for a phone/pda is the sony ericson W800i. it is the closes thing to an organiser and a good size too. you get a 512MB Card with it and a 2 megapixel camera built right in. I'm not sure if its compatable with my mac as i havent tried it yet. though i heard somewhere it was.

Of course if apple decided to bring such a device. i would buy one straight away too. But as for pda/phones i think sony is getting realy close now with the W800i.

Thanks for the feedback Quicksilver. The W800i is much more like a standard phone than what I was looking for. First and foremost I want the functionality of the PDA (ie. stylus, large screen, etc), but I also want the device to be capable of making phone calls and sending emails directly.

I know that these devices exist in the PC world. However, a fundamental issue is the Mac synchronization (Mail, iCal, etc.,). I use Mac's Mail for my email and would like to avoid using MS Entourage at all costs.
