my company has developed an excel add-in which runs on windows xp professional at work. I would like to run it at home on my mac but when I try to select it, I get an error message:
<add-in name.xla> is not a valid add-in
I'm a bit confused because, as I understood it, a .xla file is simply a .xls file with the ISAddin property activated. I'm having no problem opening .xls spreadsheets from work.
Any suggestions?
