Mac freezes completely when opening preferences, some e-mail attachments, full-screen viewing of films, tv, etc. Been through the official help process but no change! Please help. Many thanks.

And how much total space on it?

When did this start to happen?

Is that 1 GB RAM the same that came installed on that computer?

What have you done previously in the search of the cause?
