.Mac.....is it worth it?

I want to subscribe to .Mac, I already use iCal, Adresses and Mail. I changed from Entourage to take advantage of .Mac....

What I want to know is that (past all the complaining about paying $) is it worth it?

Whats the cost to subscribe in Australia? To any Aussie out there! The Aussie Apple site tranfers .Mac link to the US (does not help when I need Aus dollars).

P.S I have crappy dial-up.

I'm in Switzerland... and I like the ease of use of .mac. The main problem is that it is not always on. It goes down from time to time during a few hours. For the rest it's very good.
