Mac Mail and Entrust

I've been using Entrust with Mac mail for some time, and have a continuing problem. Under Tiger and Leapord, I was able to encrypt a document using Entrust and attach it to an outgoing e-mail, but I couldn't encrypt the e-mail itself. Even though the Entrust Icon in the menu bar turned green, signifying I had logged on successfully, there was no key icon in the Mail message to allow me to encrypt said message. After upgrading to Snow Leapord (currently 10.6.3) and Mail 4.2 my Entrust stopped working entirely. After some wrangling by my computer support person, we upgraded to Entrust 8.00 (build 35) from 7.3.2 (patched), which restored the icon in the menu bar. However, I am still unable to encrypt an outgoing message in Mail; everything has to be written in Word or Textedit and then encrypted separately. Other users in my group don't seem to have this problem. My system is a MacPro (2x2.66 Quad-core, 10 GB ram, 2 x 500 GB hard drives). I'm using a range of security products required by my company (SAV, etc.) so there might be a conflict.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

If things are working for your colleagues, then why don't you sit with one of them to learn how to handle Entrust correctly?

Good day,

It sounds like you are using the initial commercial release of Entrust Entelligence Secure Desktop for Macintosh 8.0 (Build 35), it would be a good idea to apply Service Pack 1 which was released last month, which may address your issue.

If it does not, please do submit a service request through our online support system, drop us an e-mail, or give us a call.

Thank you,
