Very surprising. However, once the cover has been removed, you will see that some parts of the top-cover belong to the system and some to the cover and yet the surface is smooth. Wow, very difficult to describe. Just take a look at that last frame of the video. The surface of the cover is not one piece but still looks like one piece, when compared to the first frame of the video.
So was this video produced by Apple for its service crew and leaked to the public, or was it intended for mass consumption? Wonder if Apple caught the drift that consumers would not be not happy about having to bring in their minis for every little bit of servicing.
Now I'd like to see them take apart the whole thing.
Interesting how the graphics card is done - the chip just put straight on the underside of the motherboard. They're supposed to have dedicated video RAM, but I don't know enough about computer hardware to know what to look for...
Not sure where it came from, but I'll probably make one of my wn when I try to install RAM. Might go for 1GB, depends how cheap I can get the stick. I guess the Bluetooth/Wifi option is all I need from the factory.
Well he got the RAM out. Doesn't look like there's much room to get your fingers around it though, wonder how tricky it is. At least it is easily accessible.
